Sorry guys, haven’t been updating THAT regularly due to work and stuffs. But I will make an effort to keep this blog alive! (it’s my blog after all)
So anyway, work is tiring. Like, well. Mentally more than physically. Or rather, it has been so long since i worked out that I don’t really know whether if my body is tired anot. I only know that it’s aching. But aching doesn’t mean that you’re tired, it just means that you’re not used to using that part of your body to work.
So yeah, due to a miscommunication I would be staying over at the hotel for the morning shift the next day. Or rather, I’m working from 7am~12am. An awesome 17hour shift for two days. Let’s hope that I won’t die at the end of it. Of course, I’m keeping my eyes out for other jobs. So inform me if you have any good offers!
Honestly, this job isn’t that bad. Or maybe I’m not really taking it seriously (or in other words,I don’t really have the stress of work). Like, I’m working for the fun of it. And basically just to pay my dad back. So… I’m just working towards that goal that’s all. Then well, keep an open mind and everything would be fine!

Well. I’m having the urge to buy a wireless keyboard after I get my pay. I think that it’s a really waste of money because I have 4 usable keyboards right now. And it just doesn’t make sense to buy another one isn’t it? But then my old wireless keyboard spoiled. So isn’t this a good chance to buy another one?

It just doesn’t make sense to get another one. But since these days I don’t really sit THAT close to the screen. I’m really starting to dread the wire that’s always there touching my legs. You know, if I have the money I’m going to turn everything in my room wireless (of course, that includes my monitor) Sadly wireless power still isn’t really affordable yet so I’ll leave that to the long future.
OH YES I WANTED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT AUDITION
Because I saw this random game that reminds me of audition. And since I have nothing to do I decided to dl and play it just for the fun of it. And since I’ve already played with myself for a few games, I thought, why not just try play with other people? That was the wrong choice. I played with a female character, and by the dressing sense I would guess that she’s just another typical ah lian.
And you know, ah lians are fucking pro at audition. They thrash me in every single game. wtf. Their scores are like literally twice mine. Come on, that’s just unreal. There’s a girl that I met online when it was like around 12pm. Then she asked for my age, I’m like 17, you?

omg. I think this is like one of the biggest failure I’ve ever had in my life. I didn’t manage to fix my laptop problem of over heating, and yet in the process of opening it up, i fucked two screws holes and now it runs on 2 less screws.
And all I’ve done is to repair the mistakes I’ve did, like screwing up the power on button. (which really isn’t really hard just a fucked up mistake). either way. This is damn fail.
Let’s just hope that my hacking of the N97 mini goes fine. Some preparations are to be made. So I’ll have to wait till tomorrow. that’s kinda long. But then again, I need to be patient. oh well. If I manage to hack my phone properly I’ll take a video with my webcam to show you guys the difference :D

If it’s beyond what I can handle. then I’ll quit gracefully and find a slack job. But for the moment, okay lah. Nothing too hard. Just the lousy instructions that always leave me “huh. wtf am i supposed to do actually”

It’s another boring year and it’s another boring chinese new year and well basically I don’t really have anything to say but yeah I’m feeling kinda bored right now.
Not to mention that today’s valentine’s day. Oh yeah, watched that show. Shalln’t mention how awkward it was. But did learn a little something from the show.
Anyway, waiting for the right moment to ask my dad that important question. Hmm. Oh yes. Went out yesterday, I have to say that it turned out unexpectedly fun. Lol. A little awkward at first but at least I got to know new people ^^

You know, I’ve been thinking about this for some time but I think that I’m going to put it into words today. Another topic that I wish to talk about (:
Well. As we all know, humans are emotional creatures and many of a times we act according to our feelings and emotions rather than logic and practicality. So thing is, we come to realize many of a times that we regret certain actions that we’ve done, or things that we’ve bought.
But you see. During the time that you bought that item. What was that exact feeling you had? If, that feeling at that moment tells you “buy this. buy this now” even if you regret in the future. Does it mean that you’ve made a wrong choice? Personally, I don’t think so. I mean, we’ve constantly growing and changing. It is a choice the past you have chosen with the past feelings. How are you able to judge something that has already past?
If you get a little confused then I’ll try to sum it up. What I’m really trying to say is that, if only if we could remember how we were feeling at the moment that we make a choice to do something. If only if we could remember that exact feeling and keep it in our head, then we won’t regret the decisions that we’ve made. It’s like “I bought this phone, because I really wanted it” and I want to keep that exact feeling even after I’ve gotten the phone.
But it’s really hard to do you know?
One of the most recent thing that I’ve experienced to make me think like this is the monitor that I’m staring into right now. I wanted a monitor so badly the other time, and I chose this monitor over a phone. But now that I have this monitor, it doesn’t feel that special anymore. I want to remember the feeling that I had before I got this monitor. And now that I’m craving for that N97 mini so much. I was wondering, what if I got it and I don’t feel that good about it after a very short time?
Yes, I know that its impossible to do what I’m thinking right now. But it’s just a thought ya know. It’s kind of like the whole thing with relationships, sometimes there are just some girl or guy that you want so much you’re going crazy over them, but when you finally managed to get him/her, it doesn’t feel as special anymore.

Haven’t been updating because well. Been out and about. And didn’t have much to say. But today was pretty fun. Haha. Got to know some interesting people.
So well. Too bad these two dates fall on the same day. And too bad that school hasn’t start yet. What a waste! Oh well. I’m just waiting for the angbao money then returning back to my dad and owing him money because I want him to buy that freaking N97 mini for me. I mean, come on, I’ve been talking about this for months but I didn’t dare to ask him. But let’s hope that it’ll work. I’ll ask him about it tomorrow.

You know, there’s this annoying cycle that I'm pretty annoyed about for quite some time already. It’s like, whenever I’m outside, after a couple of hours I feel pretty drained and tired, yet when I reach home, I sit down on my bed and turn on my com, and all of a sudden the energy lost seems to magically come back to me.
And whenever I use the com until I’m feeling tired, and my eyelids just feel so heavy. I decide to turn off the com and lie down and try to sleep. Yet when you start lying down the feeling of tiredness just goes away and I just spend a rather long time lying there not doing anything yet not sleeping.
This annoying cycle is well basically, annoying. Which is why I’m awake right now. besides, i’m going to take another try in sleeping. so see you tomorrow! Hopefully I can think of something to post about.
You know, it’s not the bad memories that fucks you, it’s the good ones.
According to part 3, options are really useless and that’s all because of greed.
Let me use an analogy of products to make my ideas more easily understandable.
Without a wide range of products, you won’t be tempted to buy all those. If there is only one product, you' can only buy that, it’s because of the range of products that causes greed.
Similarly, without the array of options, you won’t realize that having one option is actually better. So it’s like a paradox. Which also means that the array of options is bound to stay because you won’t know what you want if you have nothing to choose from.
So basically, I don’t really have any more argument for this, but I do have a solution to all these stupid problems with options.
First, find the option that you want the most. And then compare it with the next favourite option there is. Weigh the pros and cons and once you’ve decided with it, don’t change your mind and go “hmm, maybe that one is better”. Unless you’re able to support it with more pros than the current decision, just stick with it. You won’t regret it. Unless you’re really fickle minded then fuck you you’re basically screwed.
Well. Since people seems to like such stuffs, I may post more of such arguments in the future! But for the moment, a video to end this all.

The entire argument on options is whether it’s good for us or not. To some extent, having options is a good thing because it DOES lets us feel good about having the power to choose the road that we’re going to take and give us the ability to change our future.
But hey. Greed causes us to fumble and fall. If you’re not sure with what you want, you’re better off with either nothing or just one thing.
And if you already have in mind that only thing that you want, what’s the use of having other options then?
Like, if you’re not affected by greed and you already know what you want because you know that that is good for you, the existence of other options doesn’t seem very necessary.
Besides, the whole point about not having options is so that you won’t have to go through the trouble of choosing. Ain’t you sick of having to choose and decide over every single thing? Having just one option just simplifies everything.
So well. rather than regretting over the options that you’ve made when things go really wrong, if you only had one option, at least you won’t feel so bitter than you took the wrong thing and fucked yourself up.
And seriously, there’s a part 4 to this. Wanna hear it?
Now, having options is a good thing.
Why would I say that? For the most obvious part is because you get to choose what you want. And nothing beats having the freedom to do that. You won’t be forced to do things that you don’t want to do.
So why are people not happy with options?
The problem only arise when you have more than 1 option that you want. Or at least think that you want. If there are two products that you like but you can only buy one, that’s when you have a problem and wished that there was only one that you really liked.
If we look at the problem like this. The problem doesn’t arise from having too many options. The problem is within ourselves. Greed is what we call it. It’s because we want more than one thing. And there ARE more than one thing out in the world, yet we don’t have the ability to get all that we want. Therefore we are troubled. It’s just because of greed.
So what’s so good about having options? The answer is pretty simple, it gives us the ability to grow and mature. It gives us the chance to learn to differentiate between right and wrong. If you make the wrong choice you’ll suffer the consequences, if you made the right one then you’ll enjoy the benefits.
Like choosing between the product that you want and the product that you really need. Therefore, having options actually enables us to grow even stronger and make the right decision should the situation arise for us to make our own call.
It’s this array of options that makes you strong by having the resolve to pick one of them even though you don’t know which one is really the best for you.
So yes, this is option part 2. I still have a counter argument for this. To the people who reads it, if you want me to, tell me on my tagboard if you want me to post a part 3 to this.
I kind of just remembered this that I wanted to say some time ago but I totally forgot about it over time. So here goes. This is about options.
You know, many of a times we feel confined and bounded by our choices, that we have so many limited choices and options, for example, forced to take education and exams , homework and all that.
But actually, according to this theory that I’m going to say, having fewer options, or no options at all is the best situation. Why do I say that?
Let’s say for example, you have two choices for courses.
So let’s say you chose course A. Then while taking the course, you start to get bored of it and you start thinking "What if I had taken course B instead?” And as times goes by, the merits of course A will get smaller while the regret of not taking course B gets more and more.
Similarly, let’s say you have 10 courses to choose from.
If you’ve chosen one of it based on what you liked the best. Over time, you will start to wonder, what if I had taken one of the other 9 courses? And the good points of the course you’ve taken keeps getting lesser and lesser, yet the regret of not taking another course has multiplied by 9 times.
So you see, in our whole lives we’ve been made to make choices. Especially for us poly students. Who have to choose from over 100 over courses. You know, it’s not really that rare for some people to just feel depressed over such things.
As well as feeling depressed for making certain choices in your life. But then again, that’s life, there’s nothing much that you can do about it.
So you see, according to that, it’s really much better to have just one option. At least you know you have to take that option no matter what. And no matter how much you regret taking that option, you’ll know that that’s the only one you have, and you have no choice but to take it.
Though there’s another way of looking at this. I’ll be talking about that in my next post.

I haven’t updated my blog because there isn’t anything for me to update. Plus, I don’t really feel like telling people every little single thing I do.
But anyway, I bought a cooling mat for my laptop today. 17bucks. Is it money well spent? I don’t know, at least it seems to work somehow. How effective I don’t really know, but I’m sure there’s definitely improvement in heat dissipation
Now I’m just trying to make me laptop hot, and see how it’s able to handle the heat, or it’ll just get heated up and not function as well.
So well, so many people going poly, but so many seems unfree. As tested and proven by me and slacker today. So well. I think I caught a flu, I’m not sure, I sort of got better in 1~2 days. I mean, drink plenty of water, rest alot. That’s what I’ve been doing. For the past… uh.
So well, borrowed a book called CWNA ( Certified Wireless Network Administrator ) Study Guide. Thought I should give myself a head start before school starts. Even though I’m quite sure they won’t really teach on wireless technologies until you’re year 2 or something. But then again it has proven to be a rather interesting reading material.
I realize that my time awake isn’t a lot. So… Okay I’m just saying. I don’t really care.
So up till now I think that the mat has been rather, not too bad. Like, probably a 10~15% reduction of heat. Now, that may not be a lot. But the underside of the mat stays cool, which is basically the whole point of it, because I want to put it on my lap and use it in comfort (:
